Chris helped me rescue my emtb from a gear-slipping mess to something that feels brand new.
I booked my GT Pantera in for a service and also asked Chris to look at the gear change issue.
He diagnosed a faulty cadence sensor which Shimano don’t sell as a spare so then helped me source a new motor in Germany.
The new motor was fitted, software updated and new rear set, chain and also brake pads and the bike is like new, meaning I will get another couple of years out of it before I have to replace.
Chris is first rate with his service and as a trained engineer his attention to details is second to none.

Cycle Craft serviced my Hardtail Mountain Bike and provided a great service. I was unsure of what a mobile bike mechanic service would be like, but the service met and exceeded expectation and having the bike collected was very convenient. The bike was collected and taken away by Chris and he provided information on what to expect and a timescale provided. I was kept in the loop throughout the service via the online bike report and no extra cost work was carried out without authorisation. After the service the bike was delivered back to me and a digital service report provided, the price was also competitive. Overall, I feel Chris takes pride in his work and it shows, I would definitely use Cycle Craft again for future bike services and other work.

Chris bailed me out with days to go before an XC race as I decided to check the bike over before the next race to find a snapped spoke and worn wheel bearings. I thought I'd end up being the typical last minute customer that gets told to look elsewhere but he was really understanding and accommodating.
Bearings feel like butter now and he also found some corroded nipples and replaced them along with spokes. They run truer than ever and I asked if he had time if he could look over my gears as they've been skipping for months. Turned out the bolt in my mech hanger (two parts) was loose so they skipped no matter what and Chris spotted it and helped to preserve my sanity.
Race went well and having clean shifting gears was a dream. I'll be sure to see Chris for any future issues but obviously notify him in advance next time!

Chris at Cycle Craft did an outstanding job on my Specialized S-Works and my hardtail MTB which needed some love after using on ArdRock (MTB event). He replaced the bottom bracket and, more importantly, took the time to walk me through why it was necessary, what the issue was, and how the fix would improve performance — and he was absolutely right. Serviced my forks on my MTB and did some cabling and new chain (at my request). His pricing was very reasonable (I double-checked online and the parts were priced just like retail), and booking through his website was smooth and straightforward. He’s seriously skilled, has a great sense of humour, and made the whole experience enjoyable. No doubt I’ll be going back.
