Cyclecraft offers convenient, professional cycle maintenance and repair services at your home or workplace. Prefer not to be present? No problem—we can collect your bike, carry out all necessary servicing and repairs, and return it to you in top condition. As a fully mobile and insured service, we eliminate the hassle of transporting your bike, making the entire process smooth, efficient, and stress-free.

Safety Check (Every 6 months/ 500 miles)

£50

Includes:
Bike is assessed for wear and damage including all drivetrain parts headset, bottom bracket and wheel bearings.
Gears adjusted to improve alignment.
Chain oiled.
Brakes adjusted to improve performance.
Wheels trued to within 2mm.
Tyres inflated to recommended pressure.

Bronze Service (Every 12 months/ 1-2000 miles)

£80

Includes Safety Check plus:
Full gear adjustments inc: indexing and performance oil applied.
Full brake adjustments inc: check and alignment of pads (reset for optimum performance).
Full check of all bolts inc: torque set to axles, cranks and handlebar/stem, all to manufacturer specification.
Bottom bracket adjusted to reduce/remove play. Headset adjusted to reduce/remove play.
Wheels trued and tensioned in the bike.

Silver Service (Every 1-2 years/ 2-4000 miles)

Includes Bronze Service plus:
Hub bearings cleaned and rebuilt with new grease. Full wheel truing and tension service in a professional truing stand to within 1mm.

Gold Service (Every 2-4 years/ 4000-6000 miles)

Bottom bracket removed, cleaned and serviced.
Headset bearings removed, cleaned and serviced.
Torque check/tighten of all major bolts to manufacturer specification.
All frame pivot bearings inspected and re-greased (full suspension models).

Race Prep (Every 5 years/ 6000 miles+) – £240/£300

Includes Complete Service Plus:

Full strip down to a frame only.

All bolts removed, cleaned and refitted with fresh grease.

Full detailed clean down of the bike and polished to showroom standard.

Hardtail / Road bikes from £240 and full suspension/TT Bikes/E Bikes from £300.

Brakes

Brake service – £30

Full brake service to both brakes including check and re-alignment of pads, clean of braking surface and adjustment to reach optimal performance

Brake fitment (per brake) – £20

Removal of old brakes (inc hydraulic) from bike, fitment of new units. Brake bleed service available for £10 per brake caliper if required

Brake bleed inc service (per brake) – £20

Wheels and pads removed, brake pistons oiled, full bleed including fresh oil and pressure test. Brake re-setup with full clean down. Oil is included in the price.

Individual Services - Drivetrain

Drivetrain

Bottom bracket service – £25

Cranks and bottom bracket removed and full clean of frame and BB housing. Re-grease and install followed by a check of the gears.

Bottom bracket removal (stuck fast in frame) – £20+

Removal of Stuck fast bottom bracket. Where possible, the old unit will be saved but cannot be guaranteed.

Gear service – £30

Full gear service including indexing, stop screw adjustment and re-oil using performance oil.

Drivetrain installation and set up (MTB/Flat bar models) – £60+

Fitment of the drivetrain groupset including bottom bracket, chainset, cassette, chain, shifters and derailleurs (front/rear)

Drivetrain installation and setup (Road models) – £80+

Fitment of the drivetrain groupset including bottom bracket, chainset, cassette, chain, shifters , bartape and derailleurs (front/rear)

Chain fit BMX / singlespeed – £10

New chain fitted to a BMX / single speed including tension and adjustment to brake

Shimano Di2 firmware update – £30

Update your Di2 including switching the Di2 gear levers, multi shift through the gears, change the speed at which Di2 can shift gear and troubleshooting

Pedal re-tapping – £5

Re-cut of the pedal thread to clear out small damage/dirt build up

Pedal helicoil service – £30

Ream out and installation of new pedal threads. Price per thread (9/16 only)

Power meter fitting – £30+

Installation and setup of power meter pedals or cranks.

Includes handover and tuition of operation (device not included)

E Bike System Update (Bosch, Shimano) – £30+

Update of the latest software to the E Bike system.

Note – we do not work on chipped E bikes and do not chip them.

If any bike has any form of chip or speed delimiter, we must be advised before any work commences – we may refuse the option to service/work on the bike.

E Bikes require regular software updates – a chipped bike will not allow an update and could stop the motor from working permanently leading to a new motor being needed.

We bear no responsibility for this issue and is the sole responsibility of the owner.

Wheels

Axle service – £20/30+

Wheel axle removed, all parts cleaned down and assessed for wear. Rebuilt with performance grease and tension adjusted in bearings (per wheel)

Front wheel is £20+, Rear wheel is £30+

Inner tube fit (single wheel) – £10

Old inner tube removed, tyre/wheel inspected for damage and penetrating items, new tube installed and inflated to recommended pressure (per wheel)

Inner tube fit (wheel in bike) – £15+

Wheel removed from bike, old inner tube removed, tyre/wheel inspected for damage and penetrating items, new tube installed and inflated to recommended pressure. Wheel reinstalled in bike, brake/gears checked for alignment (per wheel)

Tubular tyre fit (inc glue) – £50

Rim surface cleaned and degreased. New tyre seated on rim with new glue (per wheel)

Tubeless Tyre/Kit Fit – £30

Full fitting of tubeless kit including preparation, installation and pressure tuning (per wheel)

Wheel truing (Small) – £10

Wheel trued to within 1mm, loose spokes tightened

Wheel truing (Large) – £15

Wheel trued to within 0.5mm, full wheel re-tension performed

Wheel Build – £40+

New wheel built including full lacing, truing and tensioning to a complete, strong wheel

Hub service – £30/40+

Full strip down, clean, re-grease and rebuild

Front wheel is £30+, Rear wheel is £40+

Steering

Handlebar fit (MTB/Flatbar models) – £20

All components removed from old handlebar, new bar fitted and all items re-fitted and set to customer’s chosen position

Handlebar fit (Drop bar models) – £30+

All components removed from old handlebar, new bar fitted and all items re-fitted and set to customer’s chosen position (new tape not included)

Handlebar tape Fit (Drop bar models) – £10

New handlebar tape fitted including removal of old tape (cost of new tape not included)

Headset fit – £20+

Fork and old headset removed, frame and fork cleaned and bearings cleaned/re-greased. Bearing tension set. New fork can be cut down and a star nut fitted for an additional £10 when booked as part of service

Headset service – £20+

Fork and bearings removed from bike. Cups and bearings cleaned and re-greased before installing. Bearing tension set.

Cycle computer fit and setup – £10+

Installation and set up of a cycle computer. Includes handover and tuition of operation (computer not included)

Electronic Device fit and setup – £20+

Installation and setup of electronic device such as Garmins, Wahoo’s ect. Includes handover and tuition of operation (device not included)

Pannier frame fit (inc bag) – £20+

Installation of a pannier frame to a cycle. Includes fitting of pannier bag if required

Mudguard set fit (full) – £40

Installation of fixed mudguard set with stays to bicycle

Mudguard fit (single) – £20

Frame Preparation

Bottom bracket re-tap service – £20

Frame bottom bracket threads cleaned out using our professional tapping set. Not designed for a first cut. Removal of bottom bracket service also available

Bottom bracket facing – £20

Frame bottom bracket faced using our professional facing set. Removal of bottom bracket service also available

Headtube ream service- £20

Frame headtube reamed using our professional reaming tool. 1-1/8 frames only. Removal of headset service also available

Bolt/thread re-tap – £5

Re-cut of the thread to clear out small damage/dirt build up

Bolt/thread helicoiling – £20

Ream out and installation of new threads.

Boxed bike build and safety check – £50+

Full assembly of a bike from box to complete cycle. Included is a safety check and bike fitting with the client to gain a optimum position.
